Well,I got my latest addition Wen.,a McCulloch Sp 81.This should round out the Mac magnesium saws of the 70's.I have a 10-10,both left hand and right hand.A 10-10s[3.5 cu in], A 6-10 ,a 7-10 sp 81 sp 105 ,2 sp 125s.I think this covers all the cu.inchs.Did I miss any?

Now thats just teasing me Al Nice collection. I have thought of getting one large old saw probably a McC if you could only go with one of them on the large side which one would you recommend?

Mac or Homey

My choice would be an iron cylider Super Pro 125,or cp 125 or Homelite 2100s.I think there may have been some issues with the sp 125 c { chrome] model .Although the big Homie ,is a chrome cylinder,I prefer iron[ old school].Maybe the Macman will step up to the plate,he has ran them,a lot more than me

Ya I have read allot of good things about the Homelite 2100, and it seems it is harder to get from the looks of it, but I havent really followed them closely. I have seen tons of the McC on Ebay compaired to the Homelite and the price seemed to be cheaper but that isn't to say on the 125's I haven't run a search on them yet to compair the differances price and availability wise that is but just from memory seems like I have seen more of the McC on there.

The big saws

E-bay,will be having quite a few,now that winter is here.It appears that most of the big Homeys,were on the west coast,and don't pop up as often.As far as price,I've seen the Homeys as high as $300. and the Macs as high as $700.but that is the exception.I'm a little selective and have about $125 each in my big saws.One of the Macs was perfect,except the paint.One I had to resleeve.The Homey had to have a little cosmetics.There are out there,patiance is the key.
