Latest Project Stihl 028 Av Super Needs Av Mounts

Just picked up a 028 av super today. This will be my latest tinker project. This saw looks like it sat for a bit and will need some typical lubing.. you know the take it apart.. pb blast here.. marvel oil there.. wd 40 the rest. only real issue seems to be decay on the av mounts.. as in the rubber is gone on the front two. the rear one seems to be ok.. its actually there just out of its spot. Any special sizes i should look for? Any good sources? Other models to borrow from?

i know theres a few stihl people here.. figured this one should be simple...

got to play with the recoil too..

Just order (or pick up) the two front mounts from your stihl dealer... they are both 1122 790 9905. You might find them used, but.. add in freight and...

Lake beat me to the punch, but was just going to suggest strolling down to your local dealer. Not a big ticket item and were readily available last time I did one few years back. I personally wouldn't go used on simple little item like an AV mount unless it was obscure, but that's JMO.

theres a couple dealers nearby.. will see if they cost me more than the saw itself.

seems like some places around here like you to know what you are talking about when you order

had that sort of experience with a steel shop (the metal) yesterday....
