I was doing a leaf removal job today and had some ideas on how to improve the set up for my use. It has a 10" suction hose that only got about 8ft or so. I was thinking of making a neck down that has 2 4" inlets. Then I could take 4" piping and make long runners to clean up more areas then just close to the machine. Would the machine has good suction at let say 30 feet? If I fed it slow could the 4" pipe handle leaves without clogging? Has anyone ever modded the leaf machine for something like this? Does anyone else have any mods to their machine to make it better? BTW my machine is a Little Wonder 16hp model.

Thanks Scott

the machine works by moving large amounts of air, u will restrict it down too much, the air going out the exhaust will be minimal, plus u increase the chances that sticks will clog the intake. the shorter the hose the more pull u get.that hose is pretty expensive too.mine is 10" 12' long and adding another 4' would put it at its limit. at 12' it will suck the glove off your hand.
