learned somethin that may help me with sharpening..

well all my chainsaw tools are put up except one saw and one file,,due to moving..turned out to be a blessing in disguise..
i hit a nail today so was trying to straiten out a chain just to get me by,, until i unpack every thing..
so i dont have my roller guides and im looking at this chain dulled out pretty good...the saws on its side so i get the idea of trying to sharpen it on its side..
with good lite i was able see the angles an every thing..ended up with a first class little sharpen job..never had thot about sharpening one that way.. but it worked.. mabe u guys been doing it all along..but it sure surprised me with the good results.

Tony , don't you have a hammer? Sometimes I sharpen with the saw on a work table that is higher than waist high to get a closer look at the angles in full sunlight.

yep blaster .. gave me good view of the angles an such.
