Tree Freak
I am putting a proposal together for another old guy who lives on a farmette with a Porche. Part of the job consists of trimming some smaller ill planted maple cultivars from of the un-insulated house feed. The trees are pretty much under the wire and are forced to grow with a lean directly towards the wires. I would say the tree have been in the grounds at least 10-15 years, maybe ten trees in all.
Also the trees have be volcanoed with mulch during that time. All this work was done by the guy who refered me to the job. I just called the old guy and pretty much said that the whole thing looked like a mess and I don't know if he should be harboring such a mess. I did tell him he could though and what reperations should be made. I would like to get some pics. The old guy says he wants it cleared, not to hack it ( but tells me to take out half the tree) and wants to be there to watch me to make sure I am doing it right.
I used words like unthoughful planning, neglect and electrocution in desribing what needed to be done to the old guy. Don't underestimate the old guys, I knew what he was thinking.
All the clearing can be done with poles though as the trees are small. Still, standing on the ground with a pole saw puts you at risk.
