Here is something I have the responsibility of watering. This is their 3rd season here. 120 planted this way, and 1 by 1...they look like this. And whos to blame....the installer....maybe. The architect...maybe. Me for not watering enough...oh yeah thats the ticket.

and another

These are 123 out of 2500 trees I care for. These are low priority trees. Wonder if they are under any stress here? I know who takes the fall when they die...the arborist.

yeah...

yeah just sucks I have to take the fall. Yes they are already out in the highway, and recieve a good aplication of salt in the winter. And tons of other things. I keep imagining these things in 10 years (if they where to live) 40 feet tall and pruned by all the passing box trucks haha they would be 2 foot wide canopies in a perfect square shape. Sad.

That sure is a tough one. My Arbor prof. use to say "If it weren't for landscape architects, we would have no work" that was his p.c. way of saying " if it weren't for landscape architects MAKING MISTAKES, we would have no work.

You must have signed a contract for this work, right??

If you didn't add language into the contract about your concerns then you're probably right, the arborist will swing.
You should immediately send a certified letter to the powers that be outlining your concerns now that you are intimately familiar with the project

Good luck bro.
