Well im finally caught up enuff to start painting my bucket truck. Sure am gonna be happy to get rid of that beautiful orange color! Ive had a sticker made of "kemp tree service" to cover up asplundh, but asplundh is written in the middle of the box. When i paint it back white i would like a big tree in the middle and my name curved around the top, How does everyone else do theirs? Any pics would greatly be appreciated! Im gonna spend alot of money and i want it to look nice. Ive even tryed to find a billet grill for it!! haha But nobody makes billet grills for a 99 c7500!! imagine that!!

Simple and to the point, Ive seen much more extravagant logo's and designs but we did our in house to save some money. Are you painting yours or having it painted elsewhere?

My friend has a body shop so all i have to do is sand it and he will shoot it, its gonna be a quality job. You have your name in the middle, Would it look better across the top? or curved around a tree?

The company name & # are on the doors of all our trucks. I have been meaning to add some of our other services to the chip box, like Pruning, fertilizing, cabling, lot clearing, ETC... ETC... I just wen't for high visibility with big letters and #'s and it has worked well. We often get people that call from seeing our trucks driving down the road. I do think a company name over a tree or something else classy would be a nice touch if your budget permits it, I would say go for it. Post some pics when you get it all done.

Huge lettering is the best if your intention is to get more business. Also to say what your business is -> TREE SERVICE

I've seen some small construction company trucks with chrome, fancy wheels, etc. and a fancy sign on the side of the door with writing which is too small to read and in a style of script writing which is difficult to read even up close. Maybe that is why they are a small construction company?

The best seem to be plumbing trucks which have very large lettering which can be read from quite a distance away.

The font of the logo should be large enough so that neighbors can read THE PHONE NUMBER from their windows across a suburban street.

Having an email on everything from the truck, to letterhead, to business cards is a good thing too.

If you have one, a website should be very prominent. I'm in the same boat as you. I just bought a new truck, and I've gotta get it looking good.

full color printing is so affordable these days

A full-color 4'x8' Glossy coated sticker runs about $200 a piece. I just made a sign on photoshop for my box truck. You can put anything in there with photoshop
