They have the contract for NYSEG tree work here near Albany NY. I gotta say the boonesville NY boys are a good bunch. Nice guys very professional. Had to trim up my big maple in the front yard which was looking as it was gonna have to come down. They trimmed up the branches interfering with the lines and cut out all the dead stuff for me. They had to drop a nice oak on me but it will make good firewood and maybe get a log out of it. Thanks guys and maybe some of you are members on here.

there might have been one on staff with the company but the trimmers most likely weren't. When I worked ROW our regional manger was the only ISA certified person around but we were trained how to properly trim a tree.

I gotcha, I was just busting on clearance. I did R/W for years, I know how under-appreciated those guys are and feel. While cutting R/W i was called every sob you could be called and had guns pulled on me threatened by land owners, it's a tough job and guys who try and do it right usually get left feeling like they could drop dead and no-one would care. During storms we would eat at restaurants and i remember even the line-men wouldn't friendly up to us. It was the toughest most thankless job I have had.

Yes is is a tough job, had guns pulled on me as well, R/W workers are the scum of the earth until a tree falls on the line or a storm hits then everyone loved us.

I once had a lady call me a "Tree Abortionist" I explained to her that the tree was mature and not an embryo so she would have to change that to "Tree Murderer" she just stood there with this stupid look on her face.......lol
