A LR 50 boom with a 50' platform height would be how high of a working height?

Specs say 55' working height.

Don't know what's close around you but we have a great local crane service place here. Or when they are busy Pape (I don't know how to put the carrot on top)

I called my local hydraulic place. He said he'd test and inspect everything but he cant inspect the boom and cables and pins ext...

I always inspect my own equipment in addition. Was up in the 83' high ranger that had just been serviced when the leveler failed. Lucky the guy with me grabbed my harness or I'd have tested the shock lanyard. Turns out they didn't tighten a fitting and it was running fluid down the arm and into the turret while we were up cutting.
