I’m looking at getting an MS200T with a 16” bar. So far I’ve used my hand saw and my 361 in the tree, so you can see there is quite a gap. I’d like to keep the 200T as light as possible and I’ve seen where Stihl makes a lightweight 16” bar. I have to make sure it even fits the 200T. Does anyone know if they do? Are lightweight bars worth the extra money? They say they are 30% lighter, but I’ve never really paid much attention to how much any bar weighs aside from my 36”. It is noticeable on smaller bars? Do they hold up as well?

Oh Yeah, the one that accepts regular chain is allright. You'll notice a difference in weight and performance, no sacrifice. The other set up, the slim chain where you need the special bar and chain isn't that great. I found teeth break off pretty quick with them though they are nice for pruning and such.
