Lightest Rope?

I'm in the market for some rope - as a recreational tree climber that treks into my climb sites I would like to minimize my weight. What is the lightest static rope that works well with the Gri-Gri 2? Thanks in advance!

The GriGri does not accommodate the 1/2" (13mm) ropes I use, so I'm no help to you. I use a large Petzl I'D for SRT climbing. Good luck with your search!

Static rope? Probably look at smaller diameter rock climbing/caving gear stores. Could find some 10mm ish stuff.
The lightest arborist climbing line is probably Samson velocity, 11mm double braid. Has a bit of stretch though.
