Limited edition Carbon fiber insert bar from Stihl cost

My dealer called me as I had asked him to let me know when these might be available. He said each region is said to get ten of them to the warehouse and cost is $650

He said they are signed as well by somebody at Stihl I guess. Not sure if it is a live signature or just a printed one.


I don't see me getting one of these at that cost. I would have considered it at half that though.

Anyways if this is old news then carry on.

Man, ya never know.....guys spend a ton of money to collect things. And then there's perhaps a pro who makes killer money might want one for their personal saw, and write off the cost. Or something.

I agree 50%, however if Stihl does not continue to produce them then it would be a good investment.
I do not see myself trying to get one, but serious collectors will snatch them up in a minute.

If history truly does repeat itself, I'll wait twenty years, and get a bunch of them for a dozen gourmet doughnuts, and $65 each from an old Stihl dealer. Then I can sell them to you guys for $150/shipped to the lower 48.
