Hi Guys
I ordered limiter caps and removal tool....caps $2.50 each, and tool was $25.
That doesn't jive with what I am reading here. I feel as tho I'm getting ripped. Can anyone tell me what they paid?

If talking Stihl..........off top of my head, I give like $7.00 for two caps
and tool...........I think their may be two different tools though.

On my 372 caps were about $2.50 each, but I ended up just taking off the caps altogether and using the small metal heads beneath.

To help guide my screwdriver during adjustments, I ran 1/4 poly water line hose from the screws (over the ends and onto the stems) and through the adjustment holes in the cover and cut them off about 1/8" outside of the cover. I had some pictures of the procedure to make the modification, but trashed them recently.

stihl tool was $5, caps were 50-60 cents....

my dealer likes to charge me list price for cheap tools/parts....

sounds like I'm getting hozd

The saw is a 440 mag Lakeside. It looks like I should find a different source for parts....and I didn't even get kissed!
