I have a couple guys in town that love the ends. One has a SOLO stove on his patio, and the other has a Morso in his living room.
No waste here, either.

Cousin of mine deals firewood and had two 1 ton dump truck loads of ends, knots and semi soft pieces that he offered to deliver to me for free. Without hesitation I of course said yes before he was through with the offer and he stressed some of it wouldn't be pretty, NO PROBLEM BRING IT! I will be using it this year for stove chow....... a bit more handling and impossible to stack but can't beat the price. Funny thing is he also has a wood stove but I guess he doesn't want to deal with them. I was happy to help him out. I hate to see wood fuel go to waste and will burn the misfits with pleasure.

Found a guy that doesn't want red and white oak stump buttressed end.
He loads them near my log yard. Need to visit the sawmill pile soon and look around.
