I prefer a fixed d ring for limb walking. I once tried using my buddys saddle with a moving d ring but it was placed to high in my opinion. I did not have the stability or balance to walk out on limbs however in situations where I had to twist around it sure saved my back. this leads to my next question, why no have a lockable d ring. this way you could have it free or locked in the standard position. even better make it so you can lock it any where you want it. maybe there is something out there like this but i dont think there is. I wish i had the money to bring this idea to the industry but i dont. so if there are any companies reading this hook me up...... ha ha

It just takes some getting used too. The sliding D-ring.............bridge setup..........is common amoung all the newer saddles.

If you are really wanting this you might try girth hitching a lockable 'biner (provided your bridge is long enough) on your bridge. Bear in mind that when you switch over be sure your are securely tied in with your lanyard.

Mind you............that advice was a quick shot from the hip!!!
