I’m sure this has been covered before, but where does everyone get log peaveys? And which ones do you like? I need something for rolling 30 inch oak logs.

I still haven't picked one up yet, but I'll probably get this if I do. (Depends if you want a cant or a peavey, they have both, but have a sale on the cants and can get them to 60" length for better leverage.) Wood-Mizer makes a quality USA product. Lot of cheaper ones out there but wouldn't trust them on 30 inch oak. https://woodmizer.com/us/steel-cant-hook

Peavey Manufacturing in Maine- where they were invented. I have a 48", and a 62" for when the shorter one isnt enough. Sometimes even a smaller log needs the bigger one- terrain, length, straightness, limbs and so on all factor in.

I ordered the 60” from here. It seems like a quality product, and really can’t beat the price with $20 off and free shipping. I’d rather have it be too long than too short lol.

Sounds like you got a deal. I needed a replacement handle for my log carrier, and the shipping was twice the cost of the handle. And here on the West coast, any saw shop carries them.
