I'm lookin into buyin a log trailer and i really like the blue ox. Anyone got a log trailer, particularly a blue ox? What do you like/dislike about it? How's the price?
How do you get the logs close enough to the trailer for the grapple to load them? What do you have? Skidsteer? I have seen a log grapple trailer that has an integral winch built into it. If I have to use a mobile piece of equipment to get the logs to the trailer than I wouldn't see any sense in getting a grapple but just get a dump trailer instead and a skidsteer with a Beaver Squeezer Grapple or Ryan's. It would be a lot more useful.
She's a good one. After 200 hrs in 13months since i bought her, don't have a complaint yet! The most versatile tool a man can own, besides a swiss army knife. Find a new use for her almost every week. She's on the job everyday, no workers comp needed on her, can do the work of 30-40 men, never late, and does not complain or get sluggish. How do you like your Kubota? They are very well built tractors.
The tractor is a Kubota l2800, i believe it's 29 hp. and has 4x4 and a diff lock which is nice up front. The loader is a 436 kubota, the only one available with 1" steel bucket lip.what model kubota? any pics?
