I like Danner boots. I have had this pair since 94 and have worn them daily from september through spring. Although they are not a "loggers" boot I have found them to be very confortable and durable. I also like the fact that they dont have the logger heel which is uncomfortable IMO. As Russ mentioned Redwings are good boots also. Both of the brands I mentioned are cheaper than Whites or Hoffmans.
 
I also can vouch for the Vibergs, I own two pair, and for those of you from the USA you will find the $$$$$ goes a lot further in Canada. You can order them with whatever safety features you want with fyll CSA (and likely UL/ANSA ) certification available.
