i have been hearing nasty reports of sasquatchs kidnapping loggers for sex slaves here in the Pacific NWest....and cant seem to find any proof that they were really sasquatchs....and not John Lamberts gf's....now the other thing I have noticed john, is you make several references to Big Joe Mufferaw...now If I am not mistaken...Stompin Tom Conners sings a song about Joe...from what I understand Tom connors lives in Ontario as well....I realize he is a chainsaw buff like the rest of us, but I read somewhere that he was a pretty good boxer in his day too....John...you live in Ontario...can you help me out with this..??? Doesnt everyone in Ontario know each other?

Oh yeah...our rink arrives on Wednesday..cant wait to play some hockey!!!

Hi Dennis, Tom has recorded many songs about loggers and even some about Sasquatches. His best lp to date is "Moving Along" which has Big Joe Mufferaw. Tom has melowed out a bit since he got the Governers General Award last year, but he can still pack a wallop. Tom lives closeby and I see him once in awhile.
He signed a few lp's and books for me.

John, I have been doing some more research on Stompin Tom, and from what he tells me over the phone is you know him quite well personally...in fact I think he b*tchslapped you didnt he? Was something to do with the fact you told him he couldnt pack an 088 if his life depended on it?

Close, but not quite Dennis. Tom sucker punched me on the jaw after I told him he wouldnt say ???? if he had a mouthful. This was only after he repeatedly called me a lier when I professed to jumping a frieght train from Saulte Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay Ontario when I was 18. Of course there was no retaliation on my part, cause the punch was so slow, he may have just as well sent it in the mail. It didnt help that we were drinking potatoe skin moonshine.
Tom is even more full of himself than I am, he has a jutebox in his basement and all the CD's on it are his, except for a few of Wilf Carters. So anyway, Tom plugs me one and I plug his music.
John
