I have an old Campbell Hausfeld Chainsaw that I need some parts for. The problem is I don't know who manufactured it. I've been told that it could be a Homelite XL-12, a Lombard Comango, or a Poulan (model not specified). How can I determine who manufactured this saw?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Despite the way Tony feels I think getting old saws running is great.

You really need to get some pics of it though, before we can do too much

Have you checked any of the cast magnesium pieces for part numbers?

After folowing gatkeper1's advice and reading the history of Lombard Chainsaws I have determined that my saw is a Lombard AL-42. Thanks for all the help!! Now I just have to get it running. It has good compression and spark but I think the carb needs rebuilt. It seems to be flooding. Do tou guys know where to get rebuild kits for old Tillotson carbs?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Some 4.2's ran both Walbro, and Tillotson. You have to look.
Carb, clutch, bars, ignitions, etc no problem.

Might be able to help with some parts. Email me your wants--
