Hey RBW,

The tutorial you mentioned would be very informative. I have repaired quite a few saws but nothing that involved splitting a case. I have acquired two Pioneer P40s. One with a bent crank and the other with a split in the metal fuel tank. I plan on taking the good from each saw and building a one good one.

Well I guess I signed up for it.

It would probably be a lengthy thread but beneficial to both saw repair noobs And I.

Those who have never split a set of cases would get a view of the process and I would get people to harass, er, I mean to encourage me along the way. I tend twords ADD sometimes.





I guess Ill have to start getting a parts list together.
