Lookin to upgrade climbing equipment and in want of unbiased advice on what is reliable equipment and what should be avoided. Anybody out there think anything of 'Wesspur' climbing gear? Thanks ya'll.

(I'm biting my tongue and tryin' not to invoke my USMC Gunny attitude here.)
Look, I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune, but that doesn't answer my question. When I asked what equipment you're using, I was looking for a response which named the makes and models of your gear. Like I implied earlier, we can't suggest what to use if we don't know what you've been using.

my feedback is based purely on my own experience (a bit limited) and what I see many of the other boys in this neck of the woods climbing on and upgrading to. Harry Distel or Gecko carbon fibre spurs and a treemotion saddle. All I'm saying is that this gear is pretty popular, i'm happy to use it and you may find its worth a look in

Tree motion and buckingham egovation are your top saddles out there IMO. There are some great runner ups also. . Geckos ate awsome spikes. What else u lookin for?

I mostly climb with spurs, but occasionally need to 'be gentle', so simple rigging aswell. was looking (as i said before) at wesspur (preetymuch all buckingham gear).didn't know if that stuff is any good. Also, I have no aversion to used gear! Thanks man!

i would get the ergo kit with the titanium spurs and wrap pads from wesspur.

Oh, oh. Trouble. Too far in the weeds to pull out.

Do mainly removals then?

The ergovation is best for removals, plenty of padding and a saw will not cause the saddle to droop on yer arse.
I use gecko aluminum spurs and I love them, super comfy, even after 8 hrs in them on crane removals. Other than that go new school with your rope and hitch setup it will save you a lot of energy.
FYI I personally climb on the sequoia from petzl but have used the ergo in the past.
Don't believe the naysayers when it comes to the sequoia (all other saddles need to go on a diet):givebeer:

Yeah it looks cool, they fixed a few design flaws or what I would believe to be flaws on the saddle. I got to see it up and close at the TCIA show last year. It looked sweet except for the bridge redesign......it's no longer a triple webbing, more or less a grizzly type spliced 8 mil rope,
