Looking at sthil 032 for sale.

Locally there seems to be a nice sthil 032 for sale $250. looks like it has not been used much, and in good shape
Does that sound like a fair price? And what the 2nd most important thing to do besides start and lsten to it? when I go check it out?

First Advise already given:
"Check the compression if you can.. make sure it has a decent air cleaner on it.. and if it doesn't, listen for poor idle or piston slap. I'd say pull the muffler, but that's a pain on the 032.
Look for cracks in the top cover assembly and lower rear handle."

$250?! It is going to have to be truly like-new or restored to command that kind of money.

Alright. Instead of being tempted with this clean looking saw. I am sticking to my original plan and buy something around 50+ CC in the $400-450 range! with a 20 inch bar!

$250 is what they might sell for on Mars. I got one a couple of months ago for $50. (I knew the guy) Probably should be $100 to $150.

O.k., so it's mars... Real nice units sell that out here.. and not just "retail store", but on Craigslist. Personally... for that price range I'd be looking for an 034 (similar performance, but..)
