Dr Ed Gilman's book is very good.

You should ad that site to your favourites, hunt around and you'll get all the info you need for pruning .... free :biggrinbounce2:

Giman's Illustrated Guide to Pruning is the best pruning manual out there. Shigo's Tree Pruning book is more a photofraphic essay. Interesting, but not as instructive.

Hey Eric,

Our standards sell for $15., or $18 with the BMP's (which are more useful)--how much do yours cost? i've donated copies to local govts just so they had no excuse. It's paid off.
