Jmack did your friend have the original set of Geckos or a set of Gecko II's? Because Sherill recalled them all and gave everyone a set of Buckingham titanium's for free and then replaced them with gecko II's which did not have any problems that I have heard of. I only know of three climbers who use geckos but they all love them.
Looking for a new set of hooks, which would be better?
