Any suggestions? I'm currently using the original Motorola Droid on Verizon.

I've been strongly considering the Samsung Galaxy 3 but I don't want a phone that guesses what I want to do, I want a phone that does what I tell it to do.

I have an iphone, I love it. I keep it in a life proof case. Best case made. meets military specs. I can take pictures underwater if I felt the need. Best thing and the one that sold me over the galaxyIII is its size. Even in its case its pretty small and thin. The galaxy III is like having a large screen TV in your pocket. The iphone has Siri, I talk #### to her and she comes back with snappy replys(kind of scary).
After 6 months of carrying it in every tree I climb in my front pocket, its still works like a champ. Don't be an iphone hater just because. Only bad thing about the iphone is... can't think of any.

I can. Apple builds everything so that you are stuck with doing it the Apple way or the highway.

That includes not being able to pop in a new battery when the old one is worn out. NOBODY makes a battery that lasts forever, so every device should be made to allow an easy replacement. Anything else is planned obsolescence, and Apple seems to plan on that more than most companies.

I was interested in seeing other guys opinions, as I am looking too. I found this good comparison article:

What does this mean?

I've had the galaxy s3 for about 6 months now and love it. Awesome battery life compared to my last couple phones. Does everything I ask it to and never freezes or needs a reset. any picture I've posted on this forum since November was taken by its camera if you want to go into the whadja do today thread and judge the camera's capabilities.

Yes i agree Siri puts up a hell of an argument. If you change the Siri language to English UK its a guys voice with a British accent and the English AUS is a woman with an Aussie accent.

I know the camera is top notch.

I read on their own website about how it predicts when you want to make a call and automatically calls for you. Maybe I misunderstood but that is something that I don't want to happen. There were some other things that it supposedly predicted or sensed and then took action.

I'm still considering it though, I've pretty much narrowed it down to either the galaxy s3 or the droid RAZR HD maxx.

I know the iPhone has a good rep but I'd like to stay with android for now.

hmm, never had that happen to me. It WILL try to autofill the phone number you're trying to dial. other than that can't seem to think of any negatives.

It all depends on what you want it for, Galaxy is a great phone but not really pocket sized, I wouldn't get rid of mine for anything though as its just too good

I don't consider myself an Apple loyalist by any means, but have the iPhone, not the newest version, the one before. Love it, it's size works great for me, camera is fantastic, some of the larger phones seem to be overkill and a little more than I need to have in my pocket. Size is an important issue, I think. I had the original droid and loved it as well, nice and small. I don't understand the need for bigger screens on a device that you want to have on you at all times. Battery life on the iPhone is top notch. I have to charge only about every three days or so it's over two years old and when plugged into original charger, gets a full charge in an hour or two at the most. I don't think any other phone can top that! Phone in pocket, iPad in the rig, laptop at home...I will be watching reviews on the phone that Jollylogger is talkin 'bout though!

I ended up going with the galaxy 3. It's a little bigger than I prefer, but I'm really liking it other than the size.

Everything you'll ever need and more.

If you want the best get the BlackBerry Z10..
