If you want to buy one new in the box, go to mexico, the dealers there I think still sell the 070, if I'm not mistaken. they still sell the 08S in mexico, so I bet the 070 is just as easy to find there.

Wonder if that would even be legal. Looks like they are sold there without a lot of the safety crap and emmissions control crap that the EPA requires and OSHA vis a vis the safety stuff.

the OSHA stuff is kinda hard to enforce, the EPA crap, even harder, but I dont know if the customs agents would let it beyond them, though I dont know for sure.

Why would the EPA or emission standards make any difference. Stuff is sold everyday on eBay that doesn't meet the standards. Someone just needs a contact in Mexico to buy the saws (or dealer to ship) them up as "used" or "demo" and no problems. All we need is a Mexican contact, or someone near the border who can go over and pick them up.
