Does anybody repair or rebuild battery saws? I have a GreenWorks and Ryobi's that need fixed, they are both good saws when they work. Thanks for any info.

If you are looking into ways to fix them yourself, Dean Doherty has a YouTube channel where he fixes electric power tools. Not sure if he ever fixed a chain saw on video, but it doesn't seem to be a mythical experience. If you can figure out what's wrong and the parts are available, it might be a nice project. Probably a lot easier than fixing a gas powered saw.

Verify switches and controls. If it gets into a motor, you are pretty much done due to cost. If you are doing it, maybe. The cost of parts and labor will make it too much. Even on a Stihl.

Ditto... Stihl MSA160C, broken motor shaft. Motor $350. New saw $359.95

Oh well, lots of spare parts....
