Just my opionion, but the nice thing about new saws is you know they havent been abused yet, and you know they will last, and a used saw that size has probably seen some real use. Not cheap new or used but at least new you know what you are starting out with god luck. Norm
We've got one that we aren't too impressed with. The boss has mentioned on several occasions (and I agree) that he'd rather have a Husky 395xp. It has a 36", has been converted to 3/8 chain and runs fine. Also has a 36" .404 bar and we MIGHT be able to find the chain (no promise there..) I'll mention it to him and see if he's made up his mind yet.
