I have a Mac 4900 Model number 600498-02 and if anyone anywhere could figure out how to come up with just a piston ring I would greatly appreciate it.

The piston is a single ring piston and the bore is 1.74 inches or 44mm.

I have decided to try and rebuild it. The first thing I had to find was a rebuild kit for the carb. This I managed to get, but after taking the piston and ring out the ring definately needs to be replaced.

The piston is part of an assembly the three PN#s that are part of the assembly are 11600465-09, 11600465-12, 11600498-13. I think these relate to the 46cc, 49cc and 55cc saws of this generation.

Thanks for any help,

I think a 034 super has a 44 mm bore maybe the ring will interchange This hapens alot with other saws I have a 680 solo with a 272 husky piston in it also another trick is to put a 268 piston in a 372 with slight machine work to make a dome on it and you have more compression

and MS270 has 44mm bore, but if I remember correctly 1.2mm thick piston rings
