Mac Cat Carb Problems

I purchased a Mac cat 45CC saw last year and it doesn't idle properly, I have has this chain saw back to sears several times and they can't get it right. I am about ready to buy a husy 350. Is there someone who can step me thru the adjusting of the carb.

When i pull on the gas trigger it bogs but if I have it choked half way it runs fine. Go figure.

It is lean and neads the carb adjusted accordingly. The saw should also be checked for a airleak.

Hi RupeGoldburg?, very interesting name and surprisingly similar to the name of a regular here.

Ben is probably right, running lean. Do a search for carb adjustment here and you will find tons of info or maybe someone here will walk you through adjusting your carb, that is unless noone knows, or like myself, don`t feel like sharing right now, LOL.
