I was a raised on there yella saws i did my time with Mac in Sydney at Seven Hills and was taught how to convert all them there heathens away from them orange and white saws and onto something decent like a Mac or two.

I ran a service workshop plus did a little salesmanship to become one of Australia's biggest NSW Mac dealers.

All the old reed valve engines are close to my heart but alas their no more just another peg in the post as they say.

McBob.

More reason to come whipp ya, every sale you made took one away from the King, oh boy your really gonna regret selling all them bumble bee saws, just waits,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Bob - We have to find you a few more to keep you busy...

What's your favorite, and what are you looking for?

Maybe Thall could stuff them in the back of the Skoda:)

Oh yea and to rub the insult in i was the only dealer to have as a second brand Stihl not that i sold any and having two Stihl dealers in one town is another story for later.

Well, the Mac super 250 went to work this afternoon on it's intended job....cutting out a huge liquidambar stump that I have been digging out off and on for the past few months. The 20" bar was buried to the hilt and the Mac just kept churning away with the big .404 chain shoveling out the chips. Quite impressive. Not a high revving saw at all, but plenty of low end torque....it just keeps churning away. Too cool. I cut the stump up like a pie into 8 slices, and I'll see if it will split with wedges tomorrow. (If not the Mac comes out to play some more.)

I'm impressed with both the saw and the .404 chain. No way would I switch to 3/8" chain after seeing the .404 in action. Veeeery cool.

The thing is a handful to hold on to....you know you've beein holding on to a big ol' saw after running this puppy for a while. Lots of fun though.

Ummmmm.... For the record.... no way can any saw be the "king of saws" without running .404 chain. It's just not possible. Sorry.
