Fastest Homey???

Al,
Sorry I missed a number...that was 15" cotton wood. The fastest Home d lite on the planet took 2nd in hotsaw with a stock cylinder... I hurt a piston, with the ported cylinder and ran the stock to be safe til i get it sorted out...or sell it on Ebay...lol

Well,then

This puts another light on things.Cut an iron sleeve, for that bad boy,and put in some big old ports for that 12 reed intake, make it talk.

For reference I had a piece of cottonwood.. I see you corrected yourself, but on a 5 inch cottonwood two cuts, one up one down:

Super 6-10 24" Rigid nose w/ full comp chipper (that i'd been running all day trimming long ends on the odd firewood bundle)16.38 seconds

would have been faster if i'd have not bodged the up-cut..

Early 10-10 16" rollernose w/ full comp chipper (work chain again. last work i did with it was about an hour of bumping knots on a ponderosa) 17.52 seconds..

now... if i can find a 15" piece of cottonwood on the lot, I'll try this again with my Super 44A
