My Uncle dropped off a Titan 50 for me to fix up for him. I got it to run excellent, but it won't oil the chain with the auto oiler or the manual push button. I have cleaned the metal screen pickup in the oil tank.
Thanks for any ideas,
Scott

McC---My Mac 50 & others do the same thing--I have found that the rubber "elbow" that routes oil restricts oil flow where it bens, take a small drill bit & ream it out gently--getting a little bigger by steps, also run 80-90W oill in it. The pumps are really sorry & they will not pump a bar oil like stihl or husky oil due to their viscosity. Be careful not to poke all the way through the elbow/connector. Bsic idea is to make the interior of the connector a little bigger & use a little thinner oil--especially in the cold weather, this seems to work on mine & they still lube OK,,,,BILL IRVINE

Thanks, that's just what I was looking for. I was hoping someone else had already gone through this. I'll give it a try.

Hi Scott:

What are you doing working on a McCulloch, like I should ask. Did you ever get the diaphragms I sent you in the old fuel meter of that Disston. Will have my Disston at the GTG for people to see and hear. May even make a couple of cuts with it. That'll be a first for me, to see how see handles. Take care. Lewis.
