I haven't actually called them, no. Their mainpage doesn't give a date. Just thought someone here might know.

Their site builder and manager, Dan Whalen quit a couple months ago. If you got some IT skills and like saw stuff maybe they will hire.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I didn't really want to call them because I wasn't ordering anything. I mostly wanted to listen to the wave files everyone here talks about to tune my (fairly) new MS 361. It was a good site. I hope they straighten things out.

I just talked to a fellow at Madson's and he said that there is some site building in progress, but he's not a computer guy so he had no details. He said that Dan quit because he was "tired of the bull*hit". I thought that was a pretty blunt statement considering it was the first time I have ever called them and he didn't know me from Adam.

interesting goings on over there,
Ian

In a business that big there is bound to be some BS. He did get a better offer, that was what Ralph (owner) told me over a cup of coffee by the fire place. Like I said in another post, it was treat going there.

If you tune your 361 to run like that wav file its going to be running rich...mine was turning around 11,500 going by Madsens wav file.

I think the most sure fire way to tune

Is by reading the sprak plug.a new plug will not work. has to be one with some use. runt it a while.. on your last cut. while saw is under load and wfo. hit the kill switch and pull the plug.
But hey that is just the way I was taught to do it on snowsleds and dirtbikes.. The plug does not lie.
back in my modifying of Arctic cat snowsleds yes I saw way to many silver tipped plugs..way too many.. If I was a smoker I would have an piston ashtray for every room of the house plus some.smiles

For a 361, not unusual... Didn't we have this "discussion" with Ben Walker a while back???:)

If it was a 440, I'd be giving it more gas..

Edit - oh, you weren't asking me!
