Made a trip to the woods with my soon to be skidder. Looking for any issues and so far nothing major. I thought I would pull the trailer first to ease in to things. Nice load of hickory!! Tomorrow I will try to pull some logs out!

I had a post last fall from when I got it. It's a couple of Allis chalmers rear ends, an old Muncie manual transmission, and a Chevy v-8. Plus a lot of other parts. I am going to put a hydraulic winch on the back and a blade on the front.
 
That's just boss!

of course now I know what happened to my better bucket seat in the ratsun..wondered what happened to that thing...

That thing looks like you don't need to skid logs, Just wrap a chain around a couple stumps and drag a few acres of standing trees in.

and a cab for winter....................with heat,,and air cond for summer............:D:D
 
I'll post more pics as it progresses, but don't be in a hurry thinking by next winter it can replace me current setup, coot and homemade log arch!
