I split some 24 inch rounds and a 30 inch piece. It worked great.

Working the machine so much faster has elevated the oil temperature to a level that requires attention. I knew that I would have to address this at some time. My reservoir is way to small. I'll be designing an oil tank with appropriate volume and cooling surface area.

Bumping. Has anyone else done anything like this? If so, how'd it work out for you?

They make regular foot switches that are plumbed into the hydraulics. Does away with all the linkage. May have the drawback of the regular hand valve not being available.

I have dual detent valve on mine. Works great!!
