Cool build thread vid! Talk slow..work fast! HAHAHAHAHA!

That splitter looks strong, doing up them gnarly pieces pretty easy.

I talk fast, work slow..except when my felling wedge-fu fails and I have to jump outta the way! more HAHAHAHAHA

Hey, what the spray can on your welds for?

Indeed, lol. 37 ton, not much will stop it. I do most of my splits with a fiskars. If they don't go in a few swings it's to this bad boy. To impatient for a hydro splitter most of the time unless your have two people then it goes pretty quick.[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the video. I wish more YouTubers would post with the quicker time rate, like you did. It really makes for a much more watchable video on a project like this.

Good Video.
And it works like a charm.

I need to work on my "MAN" skills.
Cant weld and I Know almost nothing about macanic work.

Looks great, thanks for the video. I am thinking about extending the table on mine.

Two things.

Perhaps a lip on the side towards the motor so a big chunk can't vibrate off onto the motor.

I place the splitter within a couple feet of the stacks. So the split wood goes directly on the stack and doesn't have to be handled twice. Takes slightly more time splitting but saves handling a second time. I always split by myself.

Your right about adding a lip to the end, that would defiantly help. Im glade I made it as big as I did. Also the angle really works well for keeping logs from moving around. First time making a speedy video, you get the point in 1/4 the time. Thanks for all the replys.
