Makita 7900 HD air filter cover, gloss vs matte

Hey guys I just ordered and received a replacement engine cover and HD air filter kit/cover for my Makita 6401

The engine cover is the gloss black (which I want), however the HD air filter cover is flat/matte

I've been searching on Google/here and there's plenty of pictures of the HD air filter covers in the gloss black, but I can't find them for sale anywhere, only the kit which I bought (which of course is the matte version)

Does anyone have any advice on tracking down a gloss cover to match the gloss engine cover?

Grab a can of spray paint for plastic and give it a shot of gloss black.

Different generations of product, the current saws available for sale are matte and have been for a few years, hence why the HD kit is now matte only.
