My 262 NOS EBay find is on the way. The guy had it up for $50 and after talking to him a bit got it for $37 shipped. Not too shabby.

Did I miss the sales price?
I clarified my post above. I was talking about the Stihl he got for $100. Now I'm a little confused. You got your 261 for $100, a great price. He said he "saw another one come up" referring to the Stihl and got it for $900 but didn't say what he bought the one pictured for. I think that in the "like new" condition he bought the saw, anything under $1,000 would be a good deal if you were in the market for a saw that big.

$100 for the 261 was a deal that few could pass up.
