I currently own a lawn and landscape company and want to get into tree work. I always liked tree work. I don't want to go full time with it, but would like to make it a major part of my current business. I want to know what I am doing before I invest the $$$$$$$$$$ in equipment.
I am looking for someone who would be willing to train a climber in return for almost free labor during this summer. Would be able to work a few days a week in the summer. Even some tips in running a tree business would be great. I live in the Mt. Airy area. Prefer to drive less than 40 minutes to get to the shop.
I was a groundie for a small company when I was 14, working for free for experience. Currently able to run chippers, stump grinders, and chain saws. Also able to run bobcats, backhoes, dozers, excavators, etc. Also know some rigging used in rescue work for the Fire Department.
