Max RPM for 041 and 011...

Going to be tuning the high side of my saws with a tach maybe this weekend. What should I run them at?

041 FarmBoss
041 AV
011 AVT

My old 041's liked to sit around 11,000 to 11,500. I had a farm boss and an AV. My brother still has and uses the farm boss.

I have my 041 super set at 11,400 and seams fine plug looks great.

stihl's specs for the 011 are:

idle - 2400
clutch engages - 3200
max - 10,500

I have mine right around there and it's running great.


Dunno about the 041.

Thank you for the responses. Does anyone know the Stihl reccommended specs on clutch engagement and idle for the 041?
