I saw some Mayer trucks at a hotel today out in Amherst, Not exactly North Shore. I live and work out here (Stockbridge student)and have heard of Mayer and met some employee's at Arbormaster couses in Ct. Good company.

Just curious, I know some Mayer guys frequent this site. B.B

A little jealus, not many (any) comparable companies this way, yet.

That was the boys out there alright. We had a big job to do. We will be out there for 3 days. Stop in and say hi to the redhead. Hes the owner, great guy!
Just don't get too attached to our equipment...

Bull......They must be doing that Hadley cemetery Job, I looked at that job......what equipment did they bring, I'm going to place a friendly bet that they are out there more then three days if there is only one crew. Two crews I would say 3 days

If Dan is there I would bet the farm that there is more than one crew involved.

Trignog...No comparable companies out that way??? How about the perennial Juggernaut NORTHERN.....or as I like to call them the Evil Empire:D

Dont hold me toit but I beleive we have one crane, one bucket, and a chip truck. I am 100% there is only one crew. dil ill take the bet. one crew three days, loser buys lunch after the exam.....

Sounds good Jim...remember each tree has to have the stump removed and grinding debris cleaned up! I have to check with my brother about lunch after the exam...(hes driving) but if not after the exam we can meet up at somepoint maybe after the rec climb for a lunch...and with that crane in the scenario......theres maybe a 50% chance lunch will be on me!

I saw the log truck turning off of Route 9 on to the north side of Middle Street in Hadley yesterday. Wasn't able to initially make the turn but was able to do so after backing up. Traffic at that intersection is horrible. I will deffenitly need to go check what they are doing, probably not much of anything today because of the rain. I'll get some pictures if I can.

I just got a phone call from dan himself........the word is that the mayer boys are wrapping up the job today......looks like im taking my man boston bull to KFC tomorrow!!! :hmm3grin2orange: Nice work guys:cheers:

B.B, forgot to check the thread, don't know too much about northern, I see them around though. Sometime I'll check out the cemetary, probably only find a freshley ground patch of dirt! I would've had the time too. Luckily I've been working from home the past 2 days researching "arborsoftworx" for my company. I hope they go for it and step in to the 20th century at least. Thiry years of paper work is a hard habit to break. Plus I might get to spend more rainy days on the computer.
