I have a McCulloch 10-10 with points ignition. It has been a strong runner for years but started having issues with starting and idling. The compression is still strong and the piston and cylinder look good from the intake and exhaust ports. I rebuilt the carburetor and replaced the points with an ignition chip. I did the same thing to a pro Mac 55 and it runs incredibly well. The 10-10 will start and run but you have to keep it reving almost wide open to keep it from dying. I have the low jet at 1 turn out and the high as well. The idle screw is turned in all the way. Does anyone have any ideas for what I may be missing?
