Pictures of the piston & ring condition should help you sell this saw. Also Lee brought up a good point about the handle/tank mounts. More pictures of that area would be prudent.

The two or three muffler bolts removed is all it takes. It's very simple to evaluate any scoring on the exhaust side.

I think I agree. I’m a noob so knowing what power is required is a bit lost on me. I think you’re right about the 372, should be plenty with a 24” bar.
