I just recently disassembled my 16" Mcculloch chainsaw to fix a leaking gas line. While apart, I cleaned everything including taking the carberator completely apart for rebuild. The carberator is attached with three screws that also hold the coil onto the engine. Once back together, I now do not have any spark. Several questions: What is the clearance necessary between the coil and flywheel and how are the insulators supposed to be placed that isolate the coil from the engine? I am almost sure this is where my spark problem lies but can't figure it out.

Does anyone have a schematic or blown-up view of this chain-saw?

Thanks in advance,

George:confused:

The clearance should be about a business card thick. I'm gonna e-mail you a ph# to call for an illustrated parts list.

Check your ground wire and connection. Those saws are good at loosing grounds and also make sure your switch wire is not grounding out on the saws case.
