I’ve got a McCulloch 700 (recent find) and a 610, but have my radar looking for a PM 650.

I know the 650 has more power than the 610, but what about the PM 700?

Side by side, which would be the better saw in wood, the PM 650 or PM 700?

Just curious - Thanks!

Though the PM650 is a pretty decent saw,my 700 with a 20" bar sees 100% of all the tree work & firewood duty from 3" to 20" diameter that I get involved in through out the year. Its been my primary firewood saw since early 2021.Like it so much I have a strong running spare saw, plus 2 other parts donors (they just need minor work to be runners) waiting for future needs. When I run into something bigger than 20" diameter,I have bigger displacement saws with longer bars when needed.
