Help! I need a rewind assembly, bucking spike, and fuel cap for my new-to-me Super Pro 125. Anyone know anything?

Mac Daddy had/has a bunch of 125's, and there are a few others around that may have a stash of parts. Be patient, just bumped you to the top.

The rewind assy is the same as a lot of other Mac's but for the length of the starter pawl dog as from memory they the longer of the two types made.

Bucking spikes off a 250 or similier mac will fit the SP125 same with the fuel caps just check the vent though as they use a duckbill valve and these are a bit hard to find.

Mc Bob.

Ditto to the Ozflea.A rewind from a 250 works just dandy. The large fuel caps from any large Mac will fit.

I've seen a few rewinds bring 40 or 50 bucks when you can buy the whole 250 for half that.Actually the cap from a 250 will fit also. You could get the entire 250 most likely cheaper than the parts, they don't normally fetch much in a non running condition. The caps pop up periodically on e-bay,you might check it out.;)

Thank you all

Thanks for the help, McBob & Al. I have my eye on eBay, and also am waiting to see what Mike Acres, who isn't too far from me, comes up with.

Ryan

PS McBob: After I gave up on that Homelite trimmer coil I was telling you about, I put the original coil back in, reset the gap by the "two sheets of paper" method, and she lit right up! I think the coil gap was too wide before, but don't know why it would have started in the first place, and then no spark later. The coil screws were tight. Can't wait to test it beside my 090. Got to get a chain first though - this one still has oem McCulloch chain, I think I'll save it.

Mike would be the man to see if you are that close. He is one of the few in the world that still has a supply of new old stock parts for the Macs.
