Don't you just love it when your job for the day is to go and remove a dead birch, or a dead ash, or something like that? Where as soon as anything hits the ground, it explodes into a million pieces all over the place. I remember that the use of tarps has been implemented in the past by some here, I am curious though as to just how effective they are in containing the debris. Also, I am curious as to how much time they save vs. the good ole rake and bucket? 1/2 the time? 1/10th the time?
 
I can't make any estiamtes on the amount of time you'll save, but I guarantee that in the above type of situation putting tarps on the ground before you start dropping stuff will make cleanup a heck of a lot less frustrating.
 
And the final result can be a site that looks better than when you came in, always a good result.
