how much would you be willing to take fir such a tool? if the price is good i will probably take it but it may be a week or two before i can swing it.

also that size bar should be nothing for my 2100 correct :blob2:

A 2100 husky? It should pull a mill very well A homey will pull a mill very well also What bar mount do you need and I will see what will work for you Thanks Mike

2100 husky. i have to wait until it arrives. go it from a guy on ebay. shipping from British Columbia. hope it gets here soon so i can make sure it isn't cr@p.

If I was you I would look into a RipSaw they seem to be a very good saw powered machine and you talk about fast the AK mills are slow and hard work to use....The RipSaw is the best think since sliced bread next to the bigger bandmills. Well I think you should look at one at http://www.RipSaw.com it is a very good unit and runs boards that are true everytime at 3-4 times the speed of the AK mill.

not able to drop that kind of coin for now. had an Alaskan mill but just suffered a fire here on the scout reservation and lost everything. need new mill so i can build new buildings. good thing about the Alaskan mill is it will give me a good work out. I'm still to young to be all b****y about hard work. :)

Your in VA right? I know a guy who will come out and saw on the split. You will be out half or less of the wood. If you don't want anything wierd he saws for about 25% of the lumber.

what would you like to know. we are a short term scout camp. located in chesterfield county VA. the camp is approx 585 acres. most of which is wooded aria consisting of oak poplar walnut pecan persimmon cedar etc etc. we have 9 ponds and the better part of 2/3 of a mile of lake front property on lake chesdin. the house was built in 1831. it is basically an old tobacco farm.
